Welcoming Krasner back to the Hall of Records, Freeholder Luciano explained that he’d recognized Joshua in 2012 when he was named to the New Jersey Intermediate Orchestra as an 8th Grade Middle School student, adding, “Josh, you really are an outstanding young man and I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if we invited you back here again for a third time to recognize you for yet another commendable achievement before you graduate from high school!”

Krasner’s Eagle Scout Project entailed building two 3-bin composting stations for Essex County’s Branch Brook Park in Newark and Environmental Center in Roseland, where they are used in concert with a new eco-friendly curriculum taught at both locations. During the project, he was responsible for planning, budgeting and completing the work with the help of volunteers and fellow troop members.
